“I value the struggle, perseverance, and vital role of the women of Kurdistan, and I reaffirm my support for their legitimate demands and rights. Advancing equality is essential to our progress,” Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani said. 

“I wish them continued success and leadership in their proud journey toward achieving justice and equality.”

“I express my appreciation for the role and sacrifices of the women of Kurdistan, who have always been a fundamental part of our people’s struggle and perseverance, and who have carried the burden of revolution and sacrifice on their shoulders. On this occasion, I wish happiness, pride, and success to all the women of Kurdistan,” President Masoud Barzani said.

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani added that “throughout history, women in Kurdistan have played revolutionary and peace-seeking roles, demonstrating unmatched courage and resilience.” 

Today, as the Kurdistan Region is in a phase of building and strengthening its institutions, the active participation of women in all fields – politics, the Peshmerga, the economy, administration, and education – is a great source of pride for us.”
