According to the Kurdistan Region Counter-Terrorism Directorate, a refugee camp housing Iranian Kurdish refugees in the Darashakran subdistrict of Pirmam, Erbil, was targeted by three explosive-laden drones early on Monday morning.
“The attacks occurred at 5:15 am and 5:28 am. Fortunately, the attack resulted in no casualties,” Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Directorate said in a statement.
The Iranian Kurdish opposition party Kurdistan Freedom Party confirmed that one of its camps had been hit with drones.

On June 18, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, which aimed to end the conflict that has been raging intermittently since the end of February.
