On Monday, President Masoud Barzani received Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the National Wisdom Movement, to discuss coordination among Iraqi political parties and advancing Iraq’s political process.
Furthermore, in a separate meeting, Kurdistan Regional Prime (KRG) Minister Masrour Barzani, and al-Hakim also discussed the overall situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as recent developments in the wider region.
They also stressed the importance of resolving outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government through the Constitution and dialogue, according to a statement from the KRG.
Al-Hakim was also received by Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, where the two leaders emphasized the importance of continued efforts to strengthen relations between Erbil and Baghdad and to address unresolved issues through dialogue and mutual understanding.
They also reiterated their support for the federal government in fulfilling its responsibilities and advancing its agenda.
