Submission Guidelines

When submitting articles for consideration in the Kurdistan Chronicle print magazine, please ensure your submission meets the following guidelines:

1. Originality: All submitted content must be original and unpublished. This includes digital and print platforms, as well as blogs, podcasts, or any other media.

2. Word Count: Articles should be between 800–1,200 words.

3. Language: Use American English spelling throughout.

4. Tone and Perspective: Submissions must be unbiased and non-partisan. Avoid extreme political language or perspectives that could alienate readers from diverse backgrounds. Be mindful of how sensitive topics are addressed.

5. Author Info: Please include a short bio and a headshot with your submission.

6. Review Period: If you do not receive a response within seven working days, you may choose to withdraw your article—just be sure to notify the editor beforehand.
